We really enjoyed our trip to Holland last year. We travelled to Amsterdam and Haarlem and had a great time. I discovered some more photos of the lovely buildings we saw.
The rooftops in Amsterdam and Haarlem have their own distinctive style. I hope you find them as interesting as I did

I recently became enamoured by Amsterdam rooftops and gables on our visit in June. It’s lovely to see some of the same roofs from a different persective. Great shots 🙂

Weird how western hasn’t really adapted this concept on their rooftops.
This takes me back wehn you post about detailed observation on the
?hooks? of each building.

Modern city-scapes of multi stories, glass and concrete just don’t give the charm, whimsy and pure delight that these buildings do.
