It is a pity the well travelled lion is tucked away behind bushes. He is easy to miss if you are not looking for him.

Loved the pictures of Adelaide – the flowers are spectacular. Do you know when you are going to Lucca.
We leave here on the 9th Sept. and will be in Lucca

Wow, Deb, you’ve got a sharp eye for detail! I’ve lived in Adelaide for 29 years and didn’t notice that plague about the old lion. Just shows we need to keep our eyes open when exploring our lovely city.
The water feature in front of the museum and art gallery is a popular place for children. They often run their fingers through the water and splash out. Even the occasional adult can’t resist the same urge!
I don’t know the botanic name for the red flowers, but we call them “red hot pokers”. You’ve done Adelaide proud in bringing out some of the beauties of our city. Thanks, Deb.
