The weather in May in Italy was not the best. We seemed to have endless rainy days, making us appreciate the few sunny ones.
Yesterday in Florence was glorious…most of the time. Clouds swirled across the sky and just as we left spots of rain appeared.
The last photo was taken a minute after the previous one.
Florence is gorgeous whatever the weather.
How nice of Florence to give you such a lovely backdrop for your photos. I’m so glad you were able to capture that for us.

Florence is beautiful. We had a great day, it wasn’t hot or too crowded.

The duomo and surrounds are gorgeous, and the bridges over the Arno always look fabulous.

Blue skies help, and it was nice to have a dry day.

Reminds me of our trip to Turino on May 14th. All day beautifully sunny during our market tour and then suddenly pouring rain and a hail storm so bad that we had to seek shelter for our car!

The weather has been very changeable this spring. Some sunny days will be most welcome.

I am in Vico Pancellorum doing some restoration on my house. What I enjoy is waking up each morning and regardless if it is raining or sunning is looking out my window at the mountains and meadows of the beautiful Garfagnana region.

I think these wet, misty days are beautiful, especially here in the mountains, but we have had quite enough rain now.
Vico is a gorgeous place, whatever the weather.
