I have just had a two night stay with a friend in wonderful Florence.The crowds are still filling the streets and the days are still warm and sunny and Florence is still beautiful.
We went to a favourite place for breakfast the first day. La Menagere is a combination of shop, florist, cafe and restaurant.
Then it was a walk through Florence.

We found a shop I have been following on Instagram in Via Maggio 64R. It is called Vicolo via Mameli. The delightful assistant invited us to touch everything, so we did.
On the second day we had breakfast at another favourite place, Giacosa, in Via della Spada.
Later in the day we caught the bus to Fiesole, the pretty town above Florence. We had lunch at another amazing restaurant we wandered into.
Lunch was delicious!
After a short wander around Fiesole, which was mostly closed for the afternoon, we walked downhill to our next appointment. There are stunning views over Florence as well as the beautiful sites along the way.
We were booked to attend a fun evening in a gorgeous villa.
As it turned out we made a bit of a mistake with the location and realised it was quite a distance back up the hill. My friend called the Villa and they kindly sent a golf cart to collect us. We were driven at speed to Villa San Michele laughing all the way. We made it.
The Villa is absolutely gorgeous. We were a little early so we were able to explore.

This was one of my favourite days with you we had so many laughs and that place is just pure magic!!!
