Florence shop windows, winter 2015

I had a day in fabulous Florence. Winter is heading towards us and the shops are full of gorgeous things to keep us warm and to look pretty under those coats.

The accessories come in all shapes, sizes and colours.

The shoes are also quite varied.

There is something for everyone…a pretty season.

I’ll have this little trinket from Bulgari.

Winter 2015

  1. I would buy the lot and we will fight over Bulgari’s “trinket”. Although a Saudi princess should beat us….

    • It’s pistols at dawn for the Bulgari.

  2. mmmm, grazie, I like so much 🙂

  3. Always my favourite post of the year! And what a time to come back after this long unscheduled break. I need at least a virtual day’s shopping in Florence per tiramisu! Grazie Deb!

    • I had fun finding fashion.

  4. The clothes look lovely. I wonder how much that ‘little trinket’ from Bulgari is!

    • Quite a lot I think

  5. Fabulous fashion in Florence. I bought a couple of things there. 🙂

  6. Oooooooh, what fun! Fall must be a lovely time to be in Florence. I’m not sure I’m ready for cooler weather, but I imagine you are enjoying it no end!

    • I’m loving the cooler weather. The days are still warm though.

  7. I’m often amazed at the various ways Italian designers create “fashion” displayed in the Florentine shops! I’m not so sure about mixing leopard prints with houndstooth patterns, though… but…. your photos capture how many of these garments are exquisitely made with such aplomb. I love the various fabrics and the cut of the materials – the softness of the crepe-de-chine with the finesse of cashmere and the roughness of wool. I wonder if the seamstresses wear such beautiful clothes themselves or just love sewing…? The Bulvari necklace sure is a stunning work of art! Thanks for the photos, Debra.

    • It us interesting to see how the clothes are put together. Of course, you could do something entirely different.

  8. Ooh yes, I daren’t go to Florence. I adore handbags and shoes.

    • Me too, I have quite a collection I have gathered over the years.

  9. Such lovely, lovely things. I don’t think I could be doing with the leopard spot top and plaid skirt though:) It rather looks as if the top is going to one place and the skirt another.

    • It is an odd combination, but you could do something else with them.

  10. Oh yes! Hope you didn’t buy it all

  11. Hi Deb, I’d say “anything goes”. Luv Helen

    • It has been that way for sometime.

  12. Plenty of colour for the season…love it all.

    • I think it is a pretty season. I would like several pieces.

  13. 👠👠👠❤️❤️❤️❤️

  14. The clothes probably cost almost as much as the dazzling Bulgari…the mix match is so European. Florence windows are always beautiful.

    • I think the Bulgari might be well ahead in the money stakes, but some of the clothes would certainly be expensive.

  15. […] Florence is an easy day trip from Bagni di Lucca. I go often and it is always fun to see the shop windows full of fabulous designer fashion. […]
