…is Vergemoli. I was digging holes in the garden in the late afternoon when I looked up and spotted a rainbow. I dropped the pick and ran to get my camera. The whole thing lasted no more than a few minutes.
I knew Vergemoli was a special place.

If I remember correctly, wasn’t your son’s birthday yesterday (same day as mine)? I hope he had a nice day. The weather was lovely here in NYC.

What magic! I’m just catching up on posts – your previous one is so beautiful. What a wonderful tour. I must look for that movie. We are presently at Couran Cove for a week – from the surf side of this little island we looked down towards Surfers Paradise and from where we stood, the high rises seemed to float on a cloud of pink and blue and looked for all the world like fairy tale castles. There were kilometres of white sand and dunes and just us admiring it – himself lost his mobile phone to the surf yesterday whilst fishing – he caught a very annoyed sting ray.

I’m pleased those high rise buildings look good from somewhere. Have a surf or me…you might find the phone.
