At the end of the rainbow

…is Vergemoli. I was digging holes in the garden in the late afternoon when I looked up and spotted a rainbow. I dropped the pick and ran to get my camera. The whole thing lasted no more than a few minutes.

    • I was so lucky that I loooked up in time. The view is always incredible at Casa Debbio, but this was even more gorgoeus.

  2. This area is great in any weather. Your photos are beautiful… as they always are.

    • It was gorgeous for just a few minutes.

  6. Great shot!

    • I was lucky my camera wasn’t too far away.

  7. How lovely is that!

  8. Thats a wonderful shot of the rainbow and countryside.

    • The view from Casa Debbio is spectacular anyway, the rainbow was a bonus.

  9. A beautiful place so green.

    • It looks stunning in Autumn too.

  10. Here in Colorado (USA), we love our rainbows. The afternoon clouds write a story over our Rocky Mountains,

    • Your mountains are very beautiful.

  11. Photographs just to step into. Just amazingly beautiful.

    • You must come back soon.

      • Magari! I wish, if I have been informed correctly. Say hello to my hubby for me!

  12. Gotcha!

    • The right place at the right time.

  13. Rainbows are so elusive, well done on capturing this one.

    • It was a lovely break from digging holes.

  14. Great captures, Debra, and such a beautiful background for your rainbow. 🙂

    • Our view is always great.

  15. What fabulous photos of such a beautiful village with that rainbow. Awesome Debra

    • …a very lucky shot or 2.

  16. Magical!!!

    • Our view is incredible. I could look at it all day.

      • I can only imagine as I just see it through your blog and it is insanely beautiful. 🙂

      • I love being at Casa Debbio. I will be there for several days soon. The garden is now full of fireflies at night…fairyland.

  17. Did you make a wish Deb? Hard to imagine you would want more than to live with a view over this beautiful valley.

    • I didn’t make a wish, but if I had it would be for another rainbow.

  18. I wonder if there was a pot of gold at the end. 😉
If I remember correctly, wasn’t your son’s birthday yesterday (same day as mine)? I hope he had a nice day. The weather was lovely here in NYC.

    • It was my son’s birthday, he turned 41. I distinctly remember taking home a baby…howcouod he be 41?

  19. Very fitting.

    • It seems like the perfect place for a rainbow to be.

  20. A magical spot Debra

    • Casa Debbio is in a gorgeous position. We face south and have sunshine all day.

  21. Gardening with that view is magical enough. The rainbow is icing on the cake! I am envious Debra 🙂

    • Watering is the best part when I get to stand there and admire the view.

  22. What magic! I’m just catching up on posts – your previous one is so beautiful. What a wonderful tour. I must look for that movie. We are presently at Couran Cove for a week – from the surf side of this little island we looked down towards Surfers Paradise and from where we stood, the high rises seemed to float on a cloud of pink and blue and looked for all the world like fairy tale castles. There were kilometres of white sand and dunes and just us admiring it – himself lost his mobile phone to the surf yesterday whilst fishing – he caught a very annoyed sting ray.

    • I’m pleased those high rise buildings look good from somewhere. Have a surf or me…you might find the phone.

  23. so stunning!
