I love wisteria. I have tried to grow it on my tiny balcony, but it won’t flower. Perhaps it doesn’t like being in a pot. Just as well it is everywhere for a few weeks.

Wisteria has finished now for the season apart a few lingering lilac blossoms, but knowing it will be back next spring makes me happy.

Wisteria is such a pretty flower! I always think of the show Desperate Housewives though as they live on Wisteria Lane! 😛

Deb, I used to love wisteria – until it tried to take over my backyard and tear down my pergola! It’s been years since we’ve had one, but we’re still pulling occasional shoots out of the ground!
I must admit though, they are gloriously beautiful to look at, so long as someone else has to maintain them! 🙂

Can hardly believe it! Was looking at a place for sale in Bagni Di Lucca, went seeking more info on the web, and found your blog. I was born in Brisbane in 1945 (went to Churchie). Married to Nadya, born in Sydney 1954, parents from Italy (village of Sutrio in the far North Eastern corner).
We are serious about purchasing a (modestly priced) place in your area with a view to dividing our time between there and the Gold Coast (where we now live). KNow of anything? Or a good local agent?
