I’ve looked at clouds
There is nothing so endlessly fascinating as clouds.

dark clouds gathering to dump flooding rain on Brisbane

after the storm

blue skies over Brisbane

a clever spider

sunset from our balcony

a different sunset from the balcony

and another

full moon

clouds over Curly Flat

a blue, blue sky

Wood End clouds

rain on the way

clouds over the Oodnadatta Track, South Australia
I really like looking at clouds from the window of an aeroplane.

they look great when you are above them

I always ask for a window seat

they really do look like cotton wool

wouldn't you love to float on one?
These are all Australian clouds – can you tell? I will be seeking Italian clouds any day now. Look out for the European collection.

I”m in Milan right now, about to tackle the cold, grey day out there – no blue sky and clouds.

Deb, your photos are amazing. They get better and better. Cyclona Yasi is going to hit in about 4 hours. Cairns will be flattened. Poor Queensland. Everyone is holding their breath. Just to let you know.

I love this post. I am a cloud person too. And a window-seat person…welcome back to Italy. You’ll get your clouds soon enough.

I look forward to comparing your European cloud shots to these ones. My sister-in-law always insists that she tans differently in Europe than she does in Australia – I wonder if that’s because of the clouds?

Tanning is different in Tasmania compared to the mainland, maybe that’s why we get more clouds?

The sun is not quite as harsh here in Europe. I get a bit of a golden tan when I am here in the spring and summer.

Your right Deb, Aussie skies & clouds are different aren’t they. Lovely pics, love the sunsets too.

They are different aren’t they. The colours always look different here.
Nothing better than squashing your nose up against a window to cloud watch.

These are definitely Aussie clouds – nowhere else has clouds quite the same 🙂

Always wondered, when I was a child, if it was possible, and how beautiful, peaceful would be, to sit on a cloud… (still think of it!!! 😎 )

I love looking at the clouds and I love to photograph them. Thanks for sharing.
“I’ve looked at clouds from both sides now
From up and down, and still somehow
It’s cloud illusions I recall
I really don’t know clouds at all”
