Today as we were walking down the narrow lane way that leads from Riad Mena towards the centre, a traffic incident happened before our eyes.
A TukTuk came towards us and blocked a fair bit of the laneway. Coming the other way there appeared several forms of transport and nobody was prepared to give an inch. In less than a minute an almost empty street became traffic chaos.

I’m sure this happens all the time. It was over in minutes, when someone finally gave way. I’m happy I got to see it.

Isn’t that the most perfect microcosm of life😀. If we all used just a little commonsense, a little goodwill, a little good grace, and a belly full of good humour, life would flow without the need to clobber anyone on the sconce😀. Agreed – some problems cannot be solved without the delivery of a satisfying whack behind the ear🤓

I’m surprised we didn’t see any accidents. It is utter madness on the roads.

I burst out laughing. Nothing would convince me to drive in that city!

Hello. How would I reach you to discuss rental of your beautiful property?

Yeah, thanks. I don’t need that. But, I’m sure a very interesting city.

I could not stop laughing, but I doubt it would be fun every day, and we did see this confusion every day.
