Signs

I love badly translated signs. People go to the trouble of having a sign painted without checking with an English speaker.

I spotted this one in S’Agata sui due Golfi, near Sorrento, where I was visiting family.

  5. One I’ll never forget was actually in Young in New South Wales outside the senior citizens’ building: “Young Senior Citizens”

  6. The English translations of the signs at the Santa Maria Novella parking in Florence are hilarious.
