A gorgeous new shop in Lucca

I was very disappointed when one of my favourite shops in Lucca closed down last year. It was the very beautiful In Villa in Via Vittoria Veneto. The elegant owner had delightful selection of things for your home, baby wear and gifts.

I am pleased to say something equally lovely has appeared in its place. The newly opened Per Vinca by husband and wife team, Michelangelo and Claudia, is full of gorgeous furniture, homewares and gifts…take a look.

I wish there was a baby in the family so I could buy these tiny booties.

Michelangelo and Claudia produce much of the stock in their nearby factory just outside the walls of Lucca.

Per Vinca in Via Vittorio Veneto 35.

PS. I am sorry to say that this shop is now closed and a children’s wear shop has taken its place.

  1. Love it! I love the colors…so soothing!

    • They have a beautiful selection of things to buy…hard to resist.

      • Yes…I would go crazy in a place like that. And you want to know something kind of strange? Sometimes when I see stores like that? I don’t even go in! Yes…I think it is a self defence mechanism….because I know I am going to want to buy everything I see. Anyway…I was looking at the pics again this morning…really pretty things..

      • I love to go in to look and almost always come away with something. Even my new house in the mountains is nearly full, so it will have to stop.

  2. What an asset to Lucca. I have always enjoyed shopping in Lucca when visiting you, and find it very easy to shop for stylish and different pieces to other places. Girls always want those fabulous wooden beads, and those striped wedges, I bought there a couple of years ago. Could wrap up a few of those lovely things in your photos this morning.

    • Lucca has great shopping, another reason to go there regularly.

around the corner from Stella Pollare?

    • Yes, it is…very handy as Stella Polare is one of my favourite places to have coffee.

  8. I too was sad they closed & the owner was so lovely, can’t wait to see the new shop it looks divine

    • The stlye of the shop is a bit similar and they carry similar lines, with a few extras.
