Wandering around Lucca

I can’t get enough of Lucca.  The only good part of my driving lessons was being in Lucca often.  I never tire of wandering around looking at the beautiful town.  I discover something new each time I go.

the remnants of the ancient water supply canal

the Guinigi tower

on the facade of San Michele

chestnuts growing

Via Fillungo - the main street

antiques at Carli in Via Fillungo

porcini mushrooms at the market

There was once a moat around the walls
