New York is synonymous with shopping. I took advantage of a fine day to walk the streets to see the spring offerings. Come for a walk with me from Soho to Madison Ave and a few places in between.
Each window in this Soho shop had a different coloured chameleon…possibly more interesting than the clothes.
The Prada shop in Soho is amazing for its design as well as for the clothes.
I think skateboarders would have fun here.
Bottega Veneta is always a favourite.
Bulgari has decorated for the Year of the Snake.
Bergdorf Goodman windows are always works of art. Books are the theme at the moment.
The detail in this Alexander McQueen dress was exquisite.
Animal Farm was the next theme.
The next window was still being assembled…Alice in Wonderland perhaps?
The next group of photos were taken in Madison Ave. I am sorry about the reflection in some…but sometimes I think it is fun to see New York reflected.
Barneys menswear is wonderful. The main windows were fabulous, but they involved movement and video screens and I couldn’t photograph them successfully.
Pucci liked the snake theme as well.
The Ralph Lauren stores on 72nd and Madison are spectacular.
The next photo is for you Di…I know how you love Ralph…and these sleeves are you.
The pretty red and white dress is Oscar de la Renta, the 2 above I can’t remember. The next 3 are Etro.
Moschino is next.
Alexander McQueen again.
Dianne Von Furstenberg.
Shoes and accessories are in all colours of the rainbow this season.
…now where is that money tree?
