I love winter even with the very cold temperatures at the moment. Yesterday I drove up into some of the higher villages of Bagni di Lucca. There was little snow on the ground, but it is covering the mountains nearby.
The starkness of winter has its own beauty.
I came upon some gorgeous ice sculptures.
There are signs that spring is on the way. There are buds on magnolia trees.
New shoots on a laurel hedge.
Tomorrow snow is forecast…there will be photos if it happens.
