The years roll on too quickly. I can’t believe Christmas is with us again. This time last year we were in Finnish Lapland enjoying a snowy Christmas.
We visited Santa’s Village in Rovaniemi on the edge of the Arctic Circle and then headed up into Lapland for some dog sledding, cross country skiing, reindeer sledding and skidoo riding. It was an amazing way to spend Christmas.
Inside our cosy cottage we enjoyed gingerbread biscuits made by Jodie and Allan.
They also treated us to Baileys on snow…the perfect Christmas drink. It is easy to make if you have some fresh snow.
This year we will be eating prawns and mangoes…that’s good too.
