Things just seem to grow in Italy. Everywhere I go there are geraniums tumbling out of pots, roses climb the walls, wisteria hangs in gorgeous lilac bunches and peonies grow wild beside the road in spring. I can’t pick them all and take them home, so the next best thing is to photograph them.
The last two are my balcony in Bagni di Lucca, with my geraniums, roses and my single peony.
