Stella Maris church was designed by Michele Busiri Vici in the early 1960s. It sits, gleaming white, overlooking the harbour in Porto Cervo, on Costa Smerelda in the north of Sardinia.

I love the clock on the outside of the building, just to let sailors know what time it is, so they don’t miss mass.
The interior is beautifully simple. The furniture smells of the local juniper from which it is made.
There are gorgeous details all around the church.
