Since the roof went on the house we are building in Vergemoli most of the work has been electrical and plumbing – necessary, but not all that exciting. Now that some of that has been attended to the internal walls are being done, and it is looking good.
This looks like hard work to me. The next bit looks like more fun.
The workmen are doing a great job. It is amazing to watch it all happen so quickly. The building is very sturdy, just look at the thickness of the walls.
I was at the site 2 weeks ago and the trees around the house were still green.
The last apples were on the trees.
Chestnuts were beginning to fall.
This week autumn is in full colour. The drive up to the village was spectacular even though it was a bit overcast.
The view from the house is spectacular in any season.
A very lucky person is going to buy a beautiful house in a gorgeous setting. We don’t think it will sell quickly in the current economic climate, so we will furnish it as soon as it is finished and it will be available for rent. It has 3 bedrooms, all with views over the mountains and there will be at least 3 outdoor terraces to take advantage of the sunlight which is on the property all day.
