It is raining in Bagni di Lucca. I love the rain here, provided it doesn’t go on endlessly. I think the village and the river look beautiful in the mist and rain.
It must be raining heavily in the mountains because the river has risen quite a lot in the last couple of days.
This has not caused any problems in the village, but once again Cinque Terre is in trouble. Heavy rain has caused evacuations for the second time in as many weeks. The towns are struggling to clean up after the recent mudslides, the last thing they need is more rain.
