A Hong Kong stopover

No trip home from Europe would be complete without a visit to our friends Anup and Poorna in Hong Kong.  They have an apartment with an amazing view over the city, and they know everything about Hong Kong.

We arrived just in time for dinner and jumped at Poorna’s suggestion to go to Indochine, which she assured us served the most amazing Vietnamese food.  She was right.  Indochine is in one of our favourite restaurant areas, Lan Quai Fong.  It is a crowded, bustling, fun place clinging to a few steep, winding streets close to the city centre.

The next night we were alone as Anup and Poorna were off on holiday, so we went back to Sevva on top of the Princes’ Building.  I love the open terrace with the magnificent view over Hong Kong by night.

Being boring diners we ordered the dosas again.  They are presented here in a completely original way and they are truly delicious.
