While I was wandering around Helsinki looking at its delightful buildings I found Isabel B, in its half underground location. The shop looked fascinating from the window so I went in to investigate.
This shop has everything I love, beautiful fabrics, interior decoration, home accessories and gorgeous gifts. It is a wonderful jumble of things. The French owner has gathered a great collection from all over the world. Despite this, there was a distinctly Scandinavian flavour to everything and I think the shop would be very popular with Helsinki residents. Finland is famous for design and Isabel B would fit right in.
