Airport food

We flew from Rome to Athens and had some time to wait at the airport…time for lunch.

I wouldn’t mind flying somewhere every day.

  1. Wow – only in Italy! What’s not to like about a country that’s got its priorities right.

    • We could all learn something from this.

  2. Food and coffee at Rome Airport is great

  4. You’re making me hungry! Beautiful food photos!! Was this at a sit down restaurant at FCO? Do you recall its name?

    • I don’t recall the name. It is right in the centre of the boarding area at gate D. I think there are others.

  5. Airport food has greatly improved in recent years. Paris (Roissy Charles de Gaulle) is also a good one; however, Italian coffee is generally much better….

    • It certainly has improved. I love the coffee in Italy.

  6. Yum! Sure beats the pre-packaged sandwiches and bottled water for $15 at some Australian airports

    • The cost of food at Australian airports is ridiculous.

      • And the quality is pretty average. I have had decent coffee but for a premium price.

  7. Unbelievable! How good is that!
