I stopped over in Hong Kong for a few days on my way home to Australia. I stay with lovely friends who live in Mid Levels. This is their view.
The shops in Hong Kong are dressed for spring and looking wonderful. I was very impressed with a spectacular hat display at Lane Crawford in the IFC building.
The hats were continued throughout the store teamed with new season clothes.
Can you see yourself in any of these?
Nothing there would go with my wardrobe !

I can see you in the black punk style hat. It would be excellent when riding your bike.

I think so too. I could see some of them being worn at the races.

What a fun post, Debra! I have never seen so many cool hats–especially the one in the fourth photo–with the long feathers! AMAZING!
Hugs from Ecuador,
Kathy

The feathered hat is incredible, but it could poke eyes out.

It is a beautiful display. They were still working on it when I was there.

A bit to exotic for me but I’m sure they would suit the race going fashionisters!

I probably don’t have an occasion to wear them either, but I can appreciate the work in them.

If you decided to take up bull fighting it could come in handy.

I can;t even imagine. I am such a boring dresser! I hate shopping too unless of course I’m traveling and its more fun! 🙂

I wouldn’t like that view – give me mountains anyday!

Funny you should say that. The view from the back of the apartment is mountains. Eagles swoop down and fly between the buildings. I love cityscapes and oceans just as much as I love mountain views.

Some of those are gorgeous, but some are outrageous – I’m not sure how you’d balance them on your head! 🙂

I’m not sure that some of them would be very practical, but they look good.

Such beautiful window dressing, what skill they have. I love the roses, it must feel so special to wear one of those creations. That view of Hong Kong is absolutely breathtaking at nightime – I’ve never seen a nightscape like it.

Those are the hats celebrities wear on awards night where they get criticized for it.
