A little bit of Tuscany

We had friends staying with us recently who had not been to the gorgeous part of Tuscany just south of Florence. We needed no other excuse to drive along our favourite road between Siena and Pienza. Here is what we saw on a lovely spring day.

This scenic road from Siena goes through Asciano and on to Pienza. It is gorgeous at any time of the year

  2. We walked with friends for a week from town to town starting in Siena, with Pienza as one of our stops. How lovely to see your photos and have the memory come back of that special trip! It really is one of the most beautiful places!

  12. If I didn’t know what a great photographer you were Debra, I’d say it look almost impossible to take a bad photo. Landscape is just heaven sent. Beautiful work!

    • I think it would be very difficult to get a bad photo of Tuscany.

  13. The whole of Tuscany is so beautiful that it is hard to decide which area is the best. I would have the lot, but then, Bagni di Lucca is so pretty…..

    • Bagni di Lucca is a great central spot to explore so many places.
