The last of the autumn colour

Now that the rain has started the beautiful autumn colours will soon be washed away. Here is a last look at this beautiful season.

    • I quite like winter, but I am not here for all of it. I like the starkness of the landscape in winter.

    • Many of the trees have lost all of their leaves now. Winter is not far away.

    • I love to walk through the fallen leaves. The colour of the trees this year is beautiful.

  16. We so enjoyed the colors there 2 weeks ago…our Fall here in East TN has been the prettiest and lasted the longest in many years. Thank you for the pictures!

  18. Ahhh… lovely. Sadly, snow is now on the ground here and it was 12 degrees this morning. Autumn is officially winter now. I want to see some Winter pictures from you too!

    • I love the winter here. There will be photos. I leave Bagni di Lucca to return to Australia in December but I will be back in February for more.
