My lovely Edoardo is not doing so well. He turned 95 (I think) in April this year. He was still at the bar most days when I was in Ponte a Serraglio. He was resigned to using a walking stick and he was not his usual sparky self some days.
He was always ready for a kiss on the cheek and keen to have a chat. He still drove from home each day, but I could see that he was slowing down.
I have heard through a friend that he has had a visit to hospital and the report is not great.
If you are in Ponte a Serraglio and see him, wish him well for me and give him a big kiss from Debra, or maybe print this and give it to him.
Edoardo get well soon.

You have my very best wishes Edoardo. If I was there I would give you a kiss on the cheek. x

Edoardo, with ‘the lovely sparkly eyes’, please accept a kiss on the cheek from me too (who once was blonde). I love to be with people who have zest for life enough to sing when the mood takes them, I like to dance too and just at this moment, I could push my husband in the river – he is watching the football with two footy mates!!

I am married to a non dancer and it is recommended that he should never sing out loud. I hope Edoardo gets to have one more dance.
