Winter flowers in Brisbane

Winter in Brisbane is delightful.  I know I’ve said this before, but these sunny warm days are just lovely.  We have had some cool mornings, but it usually warms up by about 10.00am.  I have been wandering about taking photos of winter blooms, starting with my balcony.

  1. Beautiful – the hibiscus colours are amazing.

    • Aren’t they incredible?

  2. Those orange flowers are amazingly pretty! 😮 I’ve never seen them before. I wonder what they are called?

  3. Was wondering what the general purchase price for an apartment would be in the area of Bagni di Lucca.
    Thanks,
    Michelle

    • Hi Michelle, It is difficult to give an average, because the prices obviously vary a lot. There was a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom appartment on the market not too long ago for 90,000 euro, which was a bargain. I can recommend Barbara Marovelli at Geocasanet http://www.geocasanet.it She speaks English and knows the area. Let me know how you get on. Debra
